Fox News Sunday anchor Chris Wallace was honored Friday with the “Tex” McCrary Award for Journalism by the Congressional Medal of Honor Society.

Wallace accepted the award at the Naval Academy in Annapolis and said, “I am honored to receive this award, especially from people I respect so deeply. I am grateful you recognize the work of our Fox News Sunday team these past 15 years telling your story. We understand the military and their families are a big part of our Fox audience, and getting this award makes me more determined than ever to tell America about service above and beyond the call of duty.”

The other award honorees included Defense Secretary James Mattis, Senator Susan Collins, and Jay Leno.

The day before, Wallace moderated a town hall talking with Medal of Honor recipients Hershel “Woody” Williams, Kyle Carpenter, and Edward Byers. Wallace shared some of the video on Fox News Sunday this morning, and you can watch above.
