On Saturday night, Fox News’ Jesse Watters pondered if CNN’s Jim Acosta was working for President Donald Trump.

Watters started out by saying that Acosta — who he described as Trump’s political opponent and anti-wall — went down to the nation’s border where he posted a video that “destroyed his own argument.”

Standing next to a steel slate border fence, Acosta is then heard saying the in a clip: “Here are some of the steel slats the president’s been talking about right here. Yes, you can see through these slats to the other side of the US-Mexico border but as we are walking along here, we are not seeing any kind of imminent danger. There are no migrants trying to rush towards this fence here…But no sign of the national emergency that the president has been talking about. As a matter of fact, it’s pretty tranquil.”

“Perhaps, it is tranquil because there is a border fence. Migrants are not rushing to the fence because there is a fence.  Illegals cross where there is no fence,” Watters quipped,  before asking,  “Is Jim Acosta working for President Trump or CNN? Sometimes, it’s hard to tell. What an embarrassment.”
