Police Finally Found the Giant Inflatable ‘Stolen Colon’ in Kansas City
A colon was stolen in Kansas City a few days ago. A giant inflatable colon.
The inflatable, which is valued around $4,000, is owned by the Cancer Coalition, which hosts walk/run events under a campaign called “Get Your Rear In Gear.”
The coalition ships the inflatable colon across the country for walkers and runners to see and learn about the progression of colon cancer in a unique way.
The educational tool was stolen a few days ago and got some attention online because, well, it’s a giant inflatable stolen colon.
The Cancer Coalition held a successful fundraiser in the interim, but now at last the #StolenColon has been found:
BREAKING: WE HAVE RECOVERED THE STOLEN COLON. Thanks to a tip, officers found the giant, inflatable, pilfered intestine in a vacant house in the 7100 block of Virginia. No one in custody yet. Investigation is continuing. #stolencolon pic.twitter.com/QAILIr3G6d
